Humility

Standard

“For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.” John 6:38

If the Lord Jesus is God, how can He say that? Yes he was and still is God, but He was in earth as a man, He had a human nature. And the human nature wants us to do the things of the flesh, but the Lord Jesus chose to do the will of God instead.

He was teaching us a lesson: To be humble and always put God first. God’s will, must always be above everything, even our own will.

But, didn’t God give us free will? Yes, He gave us free will for us to choose between good or bad, right or wrong, and the right means to obey God’s will. He is the Almighty and knows what’s the best for us. Even the Lord Jesus put the will of God first.

We must be humble and respect our parents, brothers and sisters, friends, teachers, everyone. No matter the age of person.

Humility makes us see everyone as the same. Makes us respect our parents and forgive those who hurt us.
When we kneel down and pray to God, we humble ourselves and recognize God as our Lord and Savior.
Kneel down means: Respect, reverence, Humility.

Little knees on the ground
Hand pressed together
Little eyes closed
Time to pray

Everyone will kneel down as the sign of reverence to God and will pray with the eyes closed for better concentration. Remember those who hurt us and forgive.
