Daniel was revolted against the problems in his life, Not against God. That’s why the Lord chose him. He did not accept to hide in the caves, he did not accept to watch Israel’s enemies, the Midianites take everything that belongs to them. But instead of sitting around complaining and moaning, he decided to go out and work. God saw his good heart and courage and decide to use him to set the people of Israel free from the oppression of their enemies.
And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him and said to him: “The lord is with you, you mighty man of valor.”
The revolt of the Spirit is Faith, its courage, not anger or rebellion. If we are facing a problem, we can’t be upset or angry at nobody. We cant misbehave and talk back, we can disobey and disrespect. We must use our faith and courage just like Gideon and fight against what oppresses us.
And God will use us to defeat our enemies.
And the Lord said to him, “surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat the Midianites as one man.”
Have children identify in the pictures, what symbolizes the spiritual revolt and what is not.
